With over twenty years of general business/corporate and contract law and real estate experience, Mr. Marx’s practice has over the past several years been primarily devoted to the assistance of corporate and business real estate investors, lenders, owners, developers, contractors and other users with their real estate, corporate, contract, commercial law, litigation and estate planning/ business succession needs. His practice areas include assisting clients with a wide variety of their corporate contracting, general business and personal needs from business organization, capitalization, real estate acquisition, financing, construction, management and  leasing, to the ultimate disposition of assets. His practice includes assisting businesses to preserve and build upon their intellectual assets, including confidentially and copyright and related matters. He also assists clients with their business and personal financial and related estate planning needs.

Mr. Marx has a certified public accountant (CPA) background and nearly ten (10) years of hands on complex commercial law and real estate litigation experience before the federal and state courts of Texas and other jurisdictions.

Representative clients include financial entities, corporate and other business entities, land owners, developers, contractors, landlords and tenants of commercial properties, including multi-family and commercial real estate development companies. Commercial projects vary from apartment complexes, regional retail malls, Walmart or similarly anchored developments, office buildings and commercial warehouses.

His is primarily a corporate or other business entity commercial law/transactional practice; but he remains active in all phases of the negotiation, litigation, and or workout matters for his business clients. Throughout these past fifteen-plus years of his professional practice Mr. Marx has always done so in either a small firm or solo practitioner environment, being of the belief that this is the most efficient  and mutually rewarding setting for both the attorney and the clients he is personally focused on serving.
